CALI Conference Scholarship Opportunity


The California Association of Licensed Investigators (CALI) is accepting applications for the 2024 CALI Annual Conference Scholarship. The scholarship program is part of CALI’s commitment to providing education and training for new investigators entering the industry. Eligible members may receive a fully paid entry for the 2024 CALI Annual Conference to be held at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Golf Resort Palm Springs from October 17-19, 2024.

Our Scholarship program is made possible through the generosity of CALI Past President Chris Reynolds and everyone who participates in the CALI Scholarship fundraiser, donates, or plays in our annual golf tournament each year.

Scholarship Criteria


To be eligible for a 2024 CALI Conference Scholarship, you must meet the following criteria:

1.  Be an Active member of CALI after January 1, 2022.

2. Be a newly licensed investigator (you obtained your California PI license after January 1, 2022).

Scholarship Application Deadline: September 11, 2024.


How to Apply


If you meet the qualifications, we encourage you to apply to the Scholarship Committee Chair, Chad Ragan (chad@ragan-investigations.com), on or before September 11, 2024.

The application is a one-page letter that includes your reason(s) for wanting the scholarship and any rationale that would justify the scholarship award. For example, some members starting their new businesses face financial strains that would keep them from attending the conference. Other members are attempting to expand their knowledge base and skills as they enter the industry. We encourage you to apply if you believe you would be a worthy recipient.

CALI will award six scholarships for this year's annual conference (a $395.00 value each) thanks to our generous scholarship donor Chris Reynolds and supporters.

The scholarship award does not include travel expenses or housing for the annual conference. Scholarships are only awarded for the specified conference year and cannot be carried forward to future conferences.
Selected scholarship award recipients will be notified by September 20, 2024.
