CALI 2023 Annual Conference Scholarship Opportunity

Published on 5/1/2023

The California Association of Licensed Investigators (CALI) is pleased to announce the 2023 Annual Conference Scholarship opportunity. The scholarship is being offered as part of CALI’s long-term commitment to education and training for new investigators entering the industry.

This year eligible members may receive a fully paid entry into the 2023 CALI Annual Conference held in Sonoma Wine County, August 24 through 26, 2023. To be eligible, you must meet the following criteria:

1. Be an Active member of CALI after January 1, 2021
2. Be a newly licensed investigator (you obtained your BSIS license after January 1, 2021)

If you meet the qualifications, you must apply to the Scholarship Committee Chair, Mr. Chad Ragan (chad@ragan-investigations.com), on or before June 1, 2023

The application should be approximately one page letter, and it must include your reason(s) for wanting the scholarship, including any particular rationale that would justify the scholarship award. For example, some members starting their new businesses face financial strains that would keep them from attending. Other members are attempting to expand their knowledge base and skills as they enter the industry. If you believe you would be a worthy recipient, we encourage you to apply.

There will be ten scholarships offered ($350.00 value each) to eligible members. The scholarships are underwritten by Chris Reynolds/Chris Reynolds Investigations. Mr. Reynolds has been a CALI member since 1985, and he is a DAA recipient and a four-term President.

The scholarship does not include transportation or housing for the Annual Conference.

If you have any questions about the process or requirements, please contact Chad Ragan or Chris Reynolds for assistance.

Selected recipients will be notified on June 15, 2023.
