Guest Speaker Topic: "Fraud Trends in America - What Investigators Should Know"

The presentation portion of the meeting will be a 60 minute session, including Q&A. We will discuss CALI District business matters during the meeting before our guest speaker begins their presentation.

District Member Vote:  At our meeting we will be voting on the support of CALI-sponsored events such as Legislative “Leg” Day, Golf Tourney in support of CALI Scholarship, etc.  A vote is needed to contribute district funds to CALI-sponsored events.  


FBI Special Agent Jamil Hassani
Supervisory Special Agent & Civil Rights Program Coordinator Federal Bureau of Investigations, Sacramento Supervisory Special Agent Jamil Hassani currently leads the squad responsible for Civil Rights, Color of Law, and Public Corruption investigations at the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Sacramento Field Office.

Hassani entered duty as a FBI Special Agent (SA) on July 11, 2004. From 2004 through 2007, SA Hassani was assigned to the FBI Sacramento Field Office, where he worked International Terrorism cases and was a member of the Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) team. In 2008, SA Hassani transferred to the FBI San Francisco Field Office where he investigated Cyber Terrorism and worked on several joint international operations.

In 2011, Hassani was first promoted to Supervisory Special Agent (SSA) for a unit located at FBI Headquarters. SSA Hassani has served a as the FBI Cyber Division's liaison to the Department of Homeland Security, and for the FBI San Francisco Field Office where he managed the squad responsible for Cyber National Security cases.
